“Jumanji” Kept the Top Spot at the Box Office

In its fifth week in theaters, “Jumanji” kept the top spot at the box office, with another $20 million this weekend.  The 9/11 military drama “12 Strong” opened in second, with $16.5 million. 

Meanwhile, “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” has crossed the $600 million mark.  Here’s the Top 10 . . .

1.  “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle”, $20 million.  Up to $317 million in its 5th week.

2.  NEW:  “12 Strong”, $16.5 million.

3.  NEW:  “Den of Thieves”, $15.3 million.

4.  “The Post”, $12.2 million.  Up to $45.2 million in its 5th week.

5.  “The Greatest Showman”, $11 million.  Up to $113.5 million in its 5th week.

6.  “Paddington 2”, $8.2 million.  Up to $25 million in its 2nd week.

7.  “The Commuter”, $6.7 million.  Up to $25.7 million in its 2nd week.

8.  “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”, $6.6 million.  Up to $604.3 million in its 6th week.

9.  “Insidious: The Last Key”, $5.9 million.  Up to $58.7 million in its 3rd week.

10.  NEW:  “Forever My Girl”, $4.7 million.
