99.5 Kix Country Tornado rips through Nashville overnight, causing widespread damage

In the dark of the night Monday, strong storms and at least one tornado ripped through Nashville and a portion of Middle Tennessee killing at least eight people — including two in the state capital — and leaving a number of homes and other buildings in ruins.
Early reports show at least 40 structure collapsed in Nashville area. Tens of thousands were without power in the region Tuesday morning.
