Yesterday saw Thomas Rhett, Reba McEntire, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, and Sam Hunt all postponing or canceling their 2020 tours because of the pandemic.

It was a tough day for country concerts yesterday as five different artists postponed their 2020 tours because of the worldwide pandemic.  They are:  Thomas RhettReba McEntireLady AntebellumRascal Flatts, and Sam Hunt.

You could use Thomas Rhett’s announcement as the template for most of them.  Quote, “We make this decision with the health, safety, and well-being of our fans, touring crew, and venue staff as our priority.

Reba also got in front of it and posted her 2021 dates.  This year’s tickets will be accepted, but if you’re not interested, emails are being sent out about refunds.

Lady Antebellum is still working with their team trying to figure out their new dates.  They’re also sending emails about ticket refunds.

Rascal Flatts has completely canceled their Farewell Tour, although they are promising “fun surprises” coming our way.  Their Instagram has refund details.

And Sam Hunt has “quietly canceled” his 2020 tour, so we’ll have to wait for his word about 2021.
